Chartwell Partners is pleased to announce that Triona Schmelter has joined TreeHouse Foods (NYSE-THS) as President of its Meals Division. Schmelter joins THS from Kraft Foods, where she had served as Vice President – Meals. Schmelter brings to TreeHouse 20 years of P&L, marketing, and innovation experience in the food industry, spending the last 11 years at Kraft following nine at General Mills. Schmelter has led a diverse set of product categories, including salad dressings, frozen pizza, yogurt, and cereal. She began her career in audit with Arthur Andersen. Triona holds an undergraduate degree in Business from Notre Dame University, and an MBA from Northwestern University.
