Xenon Pharmaceuticals Names Andrea DiFabio as Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary

Chartwell is delighted to continue our partnership with neurology-focused Xenon Pharmaceuticals, assisting in the recruitment of Andrea DiFabio as Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary. Andrea brings considerable experience helping organizations transition from R&D to commercial stage, most notably during her twelve-year tenure with Biogen and the subsequent spinout of Bioverativ. She served as Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of Bioverativ until the company’s $11.6B acquisition by Sanofi in 2018. Since that time, she has served as Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary at Codiak Biosciences and Chief Legal & Administrative Officer and Corporate Secretary at Repertoire Immune Medicines. She began her industry career as a member of the executive team and senior legal counsel at Parexel International, a publicly traded clinical research organization. Andrea earned a Juris Doctor degree from Northeastern University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts, Summa Cum Laude from Boston University, where she also participated in the Executive MBA Program.
