Sara Hagar joins Chartwell Partners, Expanding the Firm’s Healthcare Sector

Sara’s appointment builds upon Chartwell’s established reputation as a premier provider of recruitment advisory services for healthcare, consumer, industrial and financial services clients ranging from Fortune 1000 companies to early stage enterprises, as well as private equity firms and their portfolio investments.

Sara began her recruiting career in 1990, focusing exclusively in the biopharmaceuticals and life sciences sector since 1991. Her search work includes Board, CEO and other C-level positions across all functional disciplines with an emphasis on highly innovative, emerging therapeutics companies approaching their key inflection points.

Prior to Chartwell Partners, Sara was a Partner with Catalyst Advisors LP, a firm she joined at its inception in 2008. Earlier in her career, she was a member of the Healthcare Sector at Russell Reynolds Associates in the San Francisco, Menlo Park and Washington, D.C. offices.

Sara is based in Philadelphia where she joins Partner, Mike DeSantis, whose practice focuses on serving clients in health insurance, healthcare technology and technology enabled service providers.
