SKYGEN USA names Linda Bernier as Chief Marketing Officer

Going forward, SKYGEN USA’s vision is to further expand it technology offerings to a broader array of customers.  This will be achieved by “productizing” a suite of SaaS products that optimize efficiencies and drive down costs serving the existing dental market as well as new customers in the vision and medical payer and provider space.  Chartwell Partners was pleased to assist SKYGEN USA in this search.

Ms. Bernier was previously Senior Vice President Enterprise Strategy & Communications for Trizetto.  Over the course of 13 years, Ms. Bernier held senior level roles in Product Portfolio Management, Solutions Strategy/Marketing and Business Development, helping the company’s growth before being acquired by Cognizant.  Previously, she held senior level roles at Siebel Systems, Premera Blue Cross & Deloitte Consulting.

Mr. Bernier’s role will lead the marketing functions of the Company.  This new role is being created to lead the development and effectiveness of the Company’s go to market strategy for a set of new products and services beyond its core Medicaid dental and medical claims administrative (TPA) services and technologies.  Given the profitability of SaaS vs. TPA services, the organization is looking to expand its software offerings across a number of key areas that are ripe for automation.  Thus, the Chief Marketing Officer will develop and manage the Company’s market access model to: expand core business; penetrate new markets; add new customers, and launch new services.

Mr. Bernier will be looked upon to scope the market of these new products/services, conceive the go to market plans and strategies, and assist with developing the sales processes for launch.  The goal is to drive rapid top line growth of these products/services into existing and new markets.  The CMO will also build and lead the marketing organization to further strengthen SKYGEN USA as the industry’s leading problem solver in benefit management technologies and services.  Ms. Bernier will be responsible for building market awareness and promoting CyberBen standards.  From a Customer Experience perspective, the CMO is responsible for achieving and maintaining industry leading levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
