RGT Wealth Advisors recently selected John Cox to be the company’s Chief Operating Officer. Scott Petty, Managing Partner of the financial services recruiting practice at Chartwell Partners worked with RGT on this important engagement.
Prior to joining RGT, John served as Executive Pastor at Watermark Community Church in Dallas where he oversaw all of the ministries and operations for the church. Before that, John spent 10 years in the business world – most recently as the Head of Strategic Planning for HBK Investments, a multi-billion-dollar global hedge fund headquartered in Dallas. Prior to that, he worked as a management consultant with the Boston Consulting Group, Inc.
John graduated with honors from Stanford University, where he was a four-year starter and captain of Stanford’s lacrosse team. He also has a Master of Divinity Degree from Fuller Theological Seminary and an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he graduated with high distinction as a Baker Scholar (awarded to the top 5% of the class).
