Chartwell Partners is pleased to announce that, following an extensive national search, David Sparacio has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of ServisFirst Bank, effective March 10, 2025. Sparacio, a seasoned financial executive with more than three decades of experience in banking and financial management, succeeds interim CFO Ed Woodie, who has provided leadership during the transition.
Sparacio previously held senior roles in corporate finance, accounting, regulatory reporting, and financial operations, and has led large accounting teams and major financial control initiatives within prominent financial institutions. His background also includes significant experience in mergers and acquisitions and financial system integrations. Sparacio holds degrees from the University of New Orleans, Loyola University New Orleans, and the U.S. Army War College, and serves as a Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve.
As Chief Financial Officer, Sparacio will oversee ServisFirst Bank’s financial strategy, regulatory reporting, and accounting operations, and will support the organization’s continued growth and long‑term financial strength.
“Congratulations to ServisFirst Bank on the appointment of an accomplished financial executive as Chief Financial Officer,” said Scott Petty, Partner of Chartwell Partners’ Financial Services Practice. “We appreciate the opportunity to support the bank in this important leadership search.”
