Global Medical Response (GMR), a leading provider of air and ground medical transportation and private fire services, announced Sean Tuley will join GMR as Chief Information Officer. Tuley has more than 19 years’ experience spanning provider, IT services, consulting and product organizations, preceded by nine years in leadership roles as an officer in the United States Army. From 2010 through 2018, he served as SVP and CIO of LifePoint Health, a Fortune 500, $6.5 billion healthcare organization.
Formed in early 2018, GMR is the nation’s largest medical transportation company (emergency and non-emergency) as the result of the combination of Air Medical Group Holdings (AMGH), the leading provider of emergency air medical transport, and American Medical Response (AMR), the largest ground ambulance company in the U.S., providing both emergency and non-emergency medical transportation. Co-headquartered in Dallas and Denver, GMR is owned by investment funds controlled by KKR, the publicly-traded global private equity firm, with almost $150 billion in assets, including several prominent healthcare services holdings.
