Highland Homes Selects Kate Ball as Director of Talent and Leadership Development

Kate Ball joined Highland Homes as Head of Learning & Organizational Development.  Ball is responsible for developing the Organizational Development strategy by planning, organizing, developing, and managing company-wide activities, which facilitate the alignment and integration of people, processes, and technology with the company’s vision, strategy, long- and short-term goals, and culture. “Chartwell Partners is pleased to have served as the executive search firm for this engagement,” said Scott Petty, Managing Partner of Chartwell Partners’ Financial Services Practice. “Kate will have a game-changing impact on the talent at Highland.”

About Highland Homes

Highland Homes was founded in 1985 by brother and sister team Rod Sanders and Jean Ann Brock. With Rod’s keen business knowledge and Jean Ann’s innovative approach to sales, marketing and architecture, 13 homes were sold in the first month of operation during one of the toughest real estate markets the nation has seen to date. Highland quickly grew to become one of the leading single-family homebuilders in the United States. Today, we build over 3,000 homes a year in Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston and San Antonio, Texas.
