Farm Credit Bank of Texas Names Brandon Blaut as Chief Executive Officer

Chartwell Partners is pleased to announce that, following a thorough and disciplined search process, Brandon Blaut has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Farm Credit Bank of Texas, effective January 1, 2026. Blaut, who previously served as the bank’s Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, succeeds Amie Pala upon her retirement after a distinguished career of service to the Farm Credit System and the agricultural communities it supports.

Blaut brings more than twenty‑five years of banking experience to his new role, including nearly two decades within the Farm Credit System across credit, finance, asset/liability management, technology, and operations. His extensive institutional knowledge, rigorous financial expertise, and demonstrated leadership position him to guide Farm Credit Bank of Texas through its next phase of strategic development and mission‑driven service to agriculture and rural communities.

As Chief Executive Officer, Blaut will provide the organization with comprehensive leadership in the development of strategic and annual business plans, the establishment of operating goals and performance standards, and the recruitment and advancement of executive talent. He will focus the efforts of the management team and staff on strengthening the bank’s long‑term financial soundness, enhancing operational capabilities, and advancing the institution’s commitment to delivering reliable financial services across the Texas District and the broader Farm Credit System. Pala will continue to support the bank through consulting services to ensure a seamless transition.

“Congratulations to Farm Credit Bank of Texas on the appointment of a deeply experienced and respected executive as Chief Executive Officer,” said Scott Petty, Partner of Chartwell Partners’ Financial Services Practice. “We appreciate the opportunity to support the bank in this important leadership succession.”
